Milano Cortina 2026 FAQ#

Tickets to the Milano Cortina Olympic Games will be available beginning in February 2025, and tickets to the Milano Cortina Paralympic Games will be available beginning in March 2025, one year before the Games.
The 2026 Winter Olympics and Paralympics will be held in northern Italy. See the locations section for more details.
The 2026 Olympics and Paralympics feature two mascots, Tina and Milo, whose names are representative of the host cities Cortina and Milano. Tina and Milo are stoats, or small mammals that are part of the mustelid family along with weasels and otters. The mascots were designed in collaboration with the Italian Ministry of Education by students of the Istituto Comprensivo of Taverna in Calabria.
The most decorated Team USA winter Olympian is Apolo Ohno, who won eight medals for short track between 2002 and 2010. Bonnie Blair and Eric Heiden are tied for the most gold Winter Olympic medals, with five medals in speed skating each.
Leading up to the Milano Cortina 2026 Paralympic Games, Oksana Masters is the most decorated Team USA Winter Paralympian with 14 Winter Paralympic medals and five Summer Paralympic medals, including the impressive feat of achieving seven medals in seven events at the Beijing 2022 Paralympic Winter Games.
The winter Olympics an Paralympics occur every four years. The Olympic and Paralympic Games are held every two years, alternating between the summer and winter Games.
The United States will be hosting the 2028 Olympics and Paralympics in Los Angeles, California, with events occurring at several pre-existing stadiums and arenas across the area.
The next three winter Olympics and Paralympics will be the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympic Games in Italy, the French Alps 2030 Olympic Games in France and the Salt Lake City 2034 Olympic Games in Utah in the U.S.
