Biographical Information
Chloe Kim began to snowboard at age four when her parents bought her first snowbarod on eBay for just $25. At age 13, Kim finished second in her X Games debut ahead of eventual Olympic Winter Games Sochi 2014 gold medalist Kaitlyn Farrington. (Kim was not eligible for the Sochi Winter Olympics because of snowboarding’s age restriction).
Chloe Kim would make her Olympic debut at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018, where she won gold in the women's halfpipe at just 17 years old, making her the youngest woman to win an Olympic snowboarding gold medal. She successfuly defended her title at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, becoming the first woman to win back-to-back Olympic golds in the halfpipe.
Kim has also made a name for herself in the world of fashion, collaborating with outerwear sponsor Roxy on multiple collection and working with eBay and Vogue on their "Eternal Eras of Fashion" campaign to curate pre-loved and vintage luxury looks.
