Biographical Information
Born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Taylor Anderson-Heide (née Taylor Anderson) began curling at a young age alongside her identical twin sister, Sarah Anderson. Her parents are Canadian, and her dad taught the twins and three older sisters how to curl.
At 16, Taylor and Sarah competed for Team USA at the Winter Youth Olympic Games Innsbruck 2012 where they finished fifth in mixed team competition on a team skipped by Korey Dropkin. Within the next four years, Taylor won back-to-back junior national titles with Sarah and teammate Cory Thiesse including winning a silver medal at the 2016 junior world championships.
Anderson-Heide is a five-time national champion, twice in mixed doubles with Dropkin (2015, 2018), twice in women’s curling on a team with twin sister Sarah (2019, 2021), and once in 2025 as the lead for the Peterson sisters, on a team with two-time Olympian Tabitha Peterson as skip.
Taylor has finished in the top 3 in women’s curling at two different U.S. Olympic Trials competing alongside her sister Sarah (3rd 2017, 2nd 2021).
Anderson-Heide married Ryan Heide in May 2024.
