Cash is a key resource in goal for the U.S. Paralympic Sled Hockey Team. Cash, whose right leg was amputated due to osteosarcoma (bone cancer) at age three, started his sled hockey career with the Disabled Athlete Sports Association St. Louis Blues in 2004 and made his first U.S. Sled Hockey National Team in 2005. In 2009, he was named the USOC’s Paralympic SportsMan of the Year. Following the Vancouver 2010 Paralympic Winter Games, in which he was named the tournament’s MVP for stopping all 33 shots over five games, Cash was awarded an ESPY for Best Male Athlete with a Disability...Son of Don and Tracy Cash…Has three brothers, Donny, James and Mike…Hobbies include camping, hiking, tennis, working out and traveling...Is a licensed banker...Makes his own hockey sticks.
