Lance Corporal Misiewicz is a double above-knee amputee injured by an improvised explosive device while on patrol in Afghanistan serving with 1st Battalion 5th Marines...Introduced to sled hockey by a friend that plays for the USA Warriors Sled Hockey Team in 2011...Has played three seasons for USA Warriors Sled Hockey Team (2011-14)...Son of William and Nancy Misiewicz...Has three siblings, Adam, Alyse and William...Played NCAA Division III college hockey for St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota...Graduated from the College of DuPage with an associate’s degree in liberal arts...Enjoys going to the gun range...Favorite band is Matchbox 20.
