Son of Jason and Mary Holloway...Townsend enjoys hiking, music, Netflix, community outreach, public service and spending time with family...He was a member of Lincoln High School’s varsity football team where he played for two years, was the 2009 team captain and was selected as a San Jose Athletic Association First Team Defensive End and second team all-area...Townsend was introduced to the Paralympic Movement by teammate Jeff Skiba, who encouraged him to compete for Team USA...Townsend was first classified at the 2015 Desert Challenge Games and has been on the fast track since, setting multiple world records in his first three major competitions...In addition to training to make the 2020 U.S. Paralympic Team, he is currently a jumps coach at Northern Arizona University.
