Biographical Information

Megan Keller started skating at age three in Farmington Hills, Michigan, and would only take skating lessons if her parents let her wear full hockey gear. Two years later, her parents signed up for hockey as she followed her older brother, Ryan, into the sport. Keller would eventually play college hockey at Boston College, where she became the school leader in goals, assists, and points among defenders.

Keller made her IIHF World Championship debut for the U.S. women’s hockey team at the 2015 IIHF Women’s World Championships as the team won gold. Since then, she has played in nine world championships and been named the alternate captain for the U.S. women’s hockey team since the 2023 IIHF World Championships.

Keller made her Olympic debut as part of the U.S. women’s hockey team, which won gold at the Olympic Winter Games PyeongChang 2018.  Her selection for the Olympic Winter Games Milano Cortina 2026 will mark her third Olympic team.

Keller plays professionally in the PWHL for the Boston Fleet, where she was signed by the team as one of its first three players alongside Team USA teammates Hilary Knight and Aerin Frankel when the league started in 2023.

Off the ice, Keller enjoys golfing and anything on the water.
