McKenzie Browne began inline skating at the age of 6 and represented the United States in multiple inline world championships before relocating to Salt Lake City at age 23 to transition to speed skating. Browne made the switch: “after watching several of my friends make the Olympic Winter Games in 2018 and 2022.”
Browne would secure her first two world cup wins during the 2022-23 in team sprint, an event not currently on the Olympic program, and culminated that season with a silver medal at the World Championships in that event with teammates Erin Jackson and Kimi Goetz.
Off the ice, her hobbies include reading, snowboarding, and hiking.
