Biographical Information
Born and raised in Bemidji, Minnesota, the self-proclaimed “curling capital of the United States". At age 17, he formed a Curling team with childhood best friend, Alex Fenson, son of 2006 Olympic bronze medalist Pete Fenson.
Fenner has been a two-time national champion (2021, 2025) and represented the U.S twice at curling world championships including a fourth place finish in 2022. Fenner had a successful junior career where he represented Team USA twice at the junior world championships including winning a silver medal in 2016.
Outside of curling, Mark Fenner is a bartender and plays second base for the Twin Cities Ducks in TCMABL (a men’s adult baseball league). He also enjoys playing softball and darts, working out, and hunting and fishing.
