Was a state champion in multiple sports in high school, including swimming (4 state titles), cross country (3) and track & field (2)
Went on to compete in cross country for Georgetown University where she was a scoring member of the 2011 D1 NCAA Cross Country National Championships team
Received her bachelor’s degree in marketing and management, then she earned her master’s degree in sports management
Introduced to triathlon in 2014 through USA Triathlon’s Collegiate Recruitment Program
