My dream vacation spot is... anywhere with mountains
When traveling, the thing I miss most is... making coffee every morning
My favorite meal is... pasta with pesto and Parmesan cheese and Caesar salad

MORE ON HALLIE: Hallie began skiing with her family when she was 2 or 3, first on plastic skis in the living room. She rode horses competitively for most of her childhood, but started doing Bill Koch races in 5th grade. Part of the way though high school, she began attending Stratton Mountain School. She went to Bates College, where she competed at NCAAs four times. After college, she moved to Craftsbury and joined the Green Racing Project. Near the beginning of her second year in Craftsbury, she decided to focus on biathlon and also gained her first international racing experience that year.
