Biographical information
Greta Myers grew up in Lino Lakes, Minnesota, and was a hockey player, starting the sport at age 2. In 2016, a local speedskating coach saw 12-year-old Myers at practice and encouraged her to try the sport.
Seven years later, Myers would win four medals at the world junior championships. With a silver medal in the all-around, she became the first American woman in 20 years to medal in the all-around at the world junior championships.
Off the ice, Myers enjoys unwinding with introspective activities like cooking, baking, reading and painting.
