Started curling at age 4, the daughter of Grayland and Karyn Cousins, who were two-time national champions (1987, 1996) in the mixed team event.
Cousins has been a two-time national runner-up (2021, 2025) in women's curling. Before the 2023-2024 season, Cousins founded her own team (not funded by USA Curling) where she is the skip and that has been coached by her dad, Grayland.
Off the ice, Cousins is a business development specialist working in Boston.
