Biographical Information

Sydney Mullaney grew up in Massachusetts and first tried curling after watching it being played at the Olympic Winter Games Vancouver 2010. 

Mullaney was a two-time national junior champion (2020, 2021) and won bronze at the 2022 junior world championships. Mullaney was also a member of the U.S. team at the 2023 FISU World University Games in Lake Placid, NY, winning a bronze medal, the first-ever medal for Team USA in women’s curling at the World University Games. 

Off the ice, Mullaney graduated summa cum laude from the University of Minnesota with a degree in strategic communication and political science. She now works as a marketing communications specialist.
