Personal
Brigid Mason got involved in boccia at a young age, and has been captivated with the sport ever since. She says being on the U.S. national boccia team has given her the opportunity to not only travel around the world, but also to do it while playing the sport she loves. She says has also gotten the chance to meet a lot of great people and learn about a lot of different cultures.
In 1992, Mason was the Easter Seals poster child in Chicago. In her role, she met the major, lit the city’s Christmas tree, and participated in some telethons.
Besides boccia, Mason enjoys spending her Friday nights with a social group that was formed through her local special recreation organization. She also likes to shop and eat out.
