Competed in the USASA in the late 90's where he was nationally ranked...A few years later he was diagnosed with Testicular Cancer...Later developed Compartment Syndrome and would have to have his legs amputated both above the knees...Meeting another amputee was a pivotal moment for him...While attending a camp for bilateral above knee amputees he met Stephani Victor... After hearing her story of Paralympic success and being invited by her to learn to ski he was all in...He applied for a CAF grant which was to help him afford the expensive equipment and moved to Utah to start his ski racing career...With the love and support of his girlfriend, he has been training with the National Ability Center High Performance Team, where he was awarded the Sportsman Of The Year award in 2020-2021 season.
