Biographical Information

Ben Musselman was born in China with spina bifida, and he was adopted at age five by Mark and Amy Musselman and moved to Ohio. Musselman began playing sled hockey at the age of 13 and quickly became one of the fastest skaters on the ice.

By age 15, he was named to the U.S. Development Sled Hockey Team and made the U.S. National Sled Hockey Team six years later. Musselman was named U.S. Player of the Game in his first career appearance, a preliminary round win in the International Para Hockey Cup. Musselman is a two-time world medalist, culminating his first season with the team by winning a gold medal at the 2023 World Para Ice Hockey Championships.

Off the ice, the Ohio resident is a fan of the Cincinnati Bengals and Columbus Blue Jackets. He also enjoys video games in his downtime.
