Zach hails from the small town of Nikiski, Alaska and currently lives at the Olympic Training Center in Lake Placid, New York. He graduated from Dartmouth College in March of 2007 and relocated to upstate New York in June to begin training as a new member of the US Biathlon Development Team. Zach is now entering his second season as a National B-Team member and is excited to start racing. His long-term goals include competing in World Cup and Olympic competitions.
