Biography:
Zac is the son of Donna and the late Kevin Nees. He has two older sisters, Megan and Shannon. Zac began diving at the age of 14. After graduating from Miami, Zac moved back to his home state of Pennsylvania in August, 2014 and now trains at Penn State. He also recently added more lifting to his training regimen. His favorite dive is a front 4 1/2 tuck (109C) on 3-meter. Zac likes to stay on his feet and listen to rap music between dives. His favorite diver is Patrick Hausding of Germany. On competition days, Zac likes to eat pancakes if he's competing in the morning or pasta if Diving later in the day. His favorite meal outside of competition is steak, mashed potatoes and asparagus.

When he's not diving, Zac enjoys video games, other sports and hanging out with friends. After his competitive days are over, Zac would like to work for a computer software company and coach diving on the side because he enjoys watching athletes progress over time and would like to help people reach their goals. Zac is a self-proclaimed nerd who describes himself as energetic, loud and thrill-seeking. He enjoys Harry Potter (both the books and movies) and would love to meet Emma Watson.
