Quick Facts

• I started karate when I was 9 and this is the first time I have ever been on the Junior National Team!
• I like to listen to Classic Rock, Reggae, Alternative and my favorite band is Sublime
• Besides karate, my hobbies include skiing, snowboarding, swimming, and softball
• I'm inspired to do Karate because of how unique and intricate it is. Watching the senior team members compete, you can see how they set up each attack trying to outsmart their opponent
• My biggest win was at nationals this year. Being on team has been my constant goal for the past three years and to finally have that opportunity is amazing
• My Grandma is my real life hero. She's always gleaming with positivity and she's spent her life traveling the world and helping those in need. I admire her because she is so accepting of others no matter how different they may be. She's shown me how to be fearless
