Education

Bahrke started skiing at 3 years old with her mom, Trilla. In seventh grade, a high school coach convinced her to try alpine racing. In 2003, Bahrke suffered a season-ending broken jaw in Japan. She missed the 2008 season after blowing out her knee on the eve of the first World Cup competition.
