Full name is Micah Makanamaikalani Christenson...Makanamaikjalani means "Gift from Heaven."…Micah's parents gave him that name because his mother had to have surgery while she was pregnant and it was unknown if he would survive...Father, Robert, played basketball at the University of Hawaii-Hilo...Mother, Charlene, played volleyball at Hilo, where she won three national championships and was named a two-time All-American...Micah married Brooke Fournier in Hawaii shortly after the Rio Games...Fournier played beach volleyball for USC in 2013-14 after transferring from Arkansas' indoor team...Micah and Brooke are the parents of Ezekiel Kūpaʻa, born in 2018, and Quinn, born in 2020..Hobbies include bodysurfing, basketball and spending time with his family.
