Biographical Information

Scottie Scheffler is an American professional golfer who has established himself as one of the leading players on the PGA Tour. He has earned multiple PGA Tour victories, including two major championship wins at the Masters Tournament in 2022 and 2024.

Scheffler developed a passion for golf at the young age of three when he received a set of plastic clubs from his parents. As a child, he would practice with ping pong balls. He began practicing at the 9W Driving Range, where his father worked shoveling snow in the winter to support his son’s interest.

Scheffler quickly rose through the junior golf ranks, becoming one of the top amateur players in the country. He attended Highland Park High School and was later recruited to play golf at the University of Texas at Austin for the Texas Longhorns. Scheffler graduated from the McCombs School of Business in 2018 with a degree in finance.

Off the course, he is involved with several charitable initiatives and is passionate about giving back to the community. He’s an active supporter of Triumph Over Kid Cancer (TOKC), a non-profit that raises money for childhood cancer research. Scheffler has donated to the organization, volunteered, and participated in various events. In August 2023, he also became an investor in the Texas Ranchers pickleball team.
