Son of Greg and Stephanie Campbell and has two brothers, Caleb and Jacob. His brother, Caleb, played football for the Kansas City Chiefs

Born with a rare birth deficiency, fibular hemimelia, Campbell had his right leg amputated at age one.
The youngest of three brothers in an athletic family, he gravitated to sports.
Played point guard and was the starting quarterback for his high school basketball and football teams.
In 2003, Campbell participated in the Endeavor Games, his first exposure to Paralympic track and field.
Five years later, he emerged in 2008 as one of the stars of the U.S. Paralympic Track & Field Team, winning his first pair of gold medals in discus and pentathlon at the Paralympic Games Beijing 2008.
Today, he is one of the most accomplished Paralympic throwers and made history as the first Paralympian to throw over 60-meters.
Hobbies include, reading, watching movies, video games, golf and anything active outdoors.
