Biographical Information

Oliver "Ollie" Martin announced his arrival on the international snowboarding scene at the Youth Olympic Winter Games Gangwon 2024, where he captured a silver medal in big air and placed fifth in slopestyle. This performance set the stage for a remarkable breakthrough season on the senior circuit. During early season training in Stubai, Austria, Martin became the youngest snowboarder ever to land a 2160-degree spin and the first rider in the world to stomp both a frontside and backside 2160.

The young Colorado native's rise continued at the 2025 Calgary Snow Rodeo, where he secured his first world cup victory. Martin's winning run featured technical rail combinations and a spectacular front double cork 1440 indy off the shark fin feature that captivated the crowd. The victory made him the youngest male snowboarder in history to win a world cup slopestyle event, cementing his status as a generational talent. His Calgary performance automatically qualified him for the 2025 FIS Snowboard World Championships in Engadin, Switzerland.

At the 2025 world championships, Martin proved his Calgary win was no fluke by earning bronze medals in both slopestyle and big air. At 16 years old, he became the second-youngest American snowboarder to medal at a world championships, trailing only halfpipe legend Arielle Gold

Snowboarding runs in the Martin family, with Ollie's brother Kade also competing on the U.S. Snowboard Team. The brothers are often found riding both pipe and park together during training sessions. Outside of snowboarding, Martin enjoys skateboarding, mountain biking, drawing and spending time with his family's cats.
