Nick Page first strapped on skis at the age of 2. At 7, he joined Wasatch Freestyle, and a year later, watching Bryon Wilson claim bronze in moguls at the 2010 Vancouver Winter Olympics changed everything. Page knew exactly where he wanted to be, and years later, Wilson would become not only his coach but also his mentor and friend at Wasatch Freestyle.
The technical demands of moguls skiing captivated Page from the start. The discipline requires athletes to navigate steep, bumpy terrain at high speeds while performing aerial tricks and maintaining precise turning technique. Page's determination to master these skills led him to log hundreds of repetitions at the Utah Olympic Park's water ramps before ever attempting tricks on snow. His father, Mike, with whom he trained extensively, instilled a philosophy that shaped his work ethic: "You can never get any of the days back."
Page's competitive breakthrough came at age 16 when he won a NorAm competition at Apex, British Columbia, becoming the youngest man ever to win a NorAm event, edging out legend Jeremy Bloom by just months. That same season, he placed second at the U.S. nationals and earned a nomination to the U.S. Freestyle Ski Team. His rise continued through the world cup circuit, where in 2020 he earned his first podium with a third-place finish in Idre Fjäll, Sweden, and was named FIS World Cup Rookie of the Year. At the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022, Page finished fifth in moguls, becoming the youngest male to compete in the medal round over the previous decade.
The 2022-23 season marked a historic milestone when Page captured his first world cup victory in Idre Fjäll, Sweden, defeating three-time Olympic medalist Mikael Kingsbury and Olympic champion Walter Wallberg. The win ended a six-year drought for American men in moguls world cup competition, the longest in U.S. history. Page's tricks score of 16.26 was the best in the field, showcasing the aerial prowess that has become his signature.
Page has represented Team USA at multiple world championships. At the 2025 world championships in Engadin, Switzerland, he posted his career-best championship result with a fourth-place finish in moguls. Throughout the 2024-2025 season, he secured six top-5 world cup finishes and ranked as high as third in the world in moguls.
