• Daughter of Mike Pivec
• Previously competed in cross-country track and field in high school as a way to stay in shape and spend time with her sister, Malia
• Still owns four track and field school records for Lynnwood High School
• Won the state high school javelin title during her senior year in high school, and threw javelin for Oregon State her freshman year
• Enjoys activities that she can partake in with her family and friends, including hiking, ultimate frisbee, watching movies, gardening, cooking, baking, playing cards and sightseeing
• Enjoys collecting sports cards, running, reading and investing
• Volunteers with the Corvallis Room at the Inn, a cold weather homeless shelter for women and serves as an advocate for the homeless
• Involved with multiple local youth outreach programs, including the Corvallis Boys and Girls Club, SouthSide and IMPACT, where she is a workout partner for individuals with disabilities
• Has worked as a food delivery bicyclist throughout college.
