When did you begin weightlifting? I started lifting for my high school weightlifting team my junior year.

Goals: Start making international teams. Gain as much meet experience as possible.

Favorite Competition Lift: Clean and Jerk

Favorite Training Lift: Power Cleans or Jerks

Most Influential person(s) in your sporting career: My parents have always encouraged me to follow my dreams. They have always made me feel good about what I am doing, are always there to support me, and are always proud of what I accomplish. I know they are pulling for me every step of the way, and it is that support that pushes and motivates me every day.

Hobbies/Interests outside of weightlifting: I like baking, traveling, and the beach. I have been known to read a lot when I get bored. I’m really interested in nutrition. Other than that I’m pretty simple and am perfectly content just hanging out.

Favorite Book(s): The Things They Carried

Favorite TV Show: Grey’s Anatomy!

Favorite Music Genre: Country. But I can listen to most anything.

Favorite Food: I like a lot of food. Spaghetti and Meatballs tops the list though. Sushi is in a close second.

Most People Don't know that… I can’t wait to have a dog of my own.
