A veteran of the USATF relay program, Wineberg is emerging as a top runner in the open 400. Wineberg made her first Olympic Team after her runner-up performance in the 400m (50.85) at the 2008 U.S. Olympic Team Trials...At the 2007 IAAF World Outdoor Championships, Wineberg ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay that brought home the gold medal in a world-leading 3:18.55 and, individually, she took 8th place in the 400m in 50.96...Wineberg posted a personal-best time of 50.24 on her way to a third-place finish at the 2007 USA Outdoor Championships. Formerly Mary Danner, Wineberg was part of Team USA's young 4x400m women's relay team rose to the occasion to win the silver medal in a seasonal best time of 3:28.63 at the 2006 IAAF World Indoor Championships. She ran a terrific anchor leg and passed the anchor for the Belarus team for the silver medal...at the 2003 IAAF World Indoor Championships, an internationally inexperienced team of Monique Hennagan (52.0), Megan Addy (52.4), Brenda Taylor (52.5) and Mary Danner (53.7) placed third in the women's 4x400 at 3:31.69.
