Krysta Palmer

Quick Facts

• Krysta is the daughter of Mitch and Vicki Palmer, and she has one sibling, Devin
• Her grandfather Norman Palmer was on the U.S. national ski team.
• Krysta did not start diving until age 20
• She participated in gymnastics for seven years and trampoline for eight years prior to starting her diving career
• Injuries (torn patellar tendon in her left knee and torn ACL, MCL and LCL in right knee) restricted her from reaching her full potential and she has since switched to diving
• Outside of competition, her favorite meal is a burrito
• In her spare time, Krysta speaks to youth elementary schools about sports, work ethic and health
• If Krysta could do any other profession, she would be a professional snowboarder
• Her favorite diver is Tania Cagnotto
