Personal
I started karate when I was 5 years old!...I have made the Junior US Team 5x. 12-13 Kata, 12-13 Kumite, 14-15 Kata, and 16-17 Kata(2x)....My heroes in real life are my parents because they have sacrificed so much to allow me to train and compete at events around the world. I would not be where I am without their love and support, I am so grateful for them....This year I was able to accomplish my biggest win at the 2019 Team Trials! This is my last year of 16-17s and this is also a Jr Worlds year. Being able to represent the USA at both the Pan Americans in Ecuador and at the Jr World Championships in Chile was my #1 goal. I am proud to represent my family, my dojo and my country....I love the feeling of progression and accomplishment after putting in the hard work is what I love about competition....I get my inspiration from my competition and my family. I respect and admire everyone that I am fortunate to share the tatami with. We push each other to bring out the best in ourselves and we raise the bar every time we step on the mat. My family is my team. They support me, cheer for me, make sacrifices for me and they keep me grounded. Without them behind me, all of this would not be possible. My mom, dad and sisters motivate me and allow me to do what I love and I want to make them proud.
