Biographical Information

Gaston grew up alpine skiing in Aspen, Colorado, and only got into endurance sports more seriously after college, when a broken back made him rethink his preferred mode of mountain adventure. Ski mountaineering fell into his lap and was the perfect fit. When he is not racing, he is hanging out with his wife and kid, listening to podcasts, reading books and watching TV.
