Started swimming at age 9...Became involved with U.S. Paralympics Swimming in 2014...Is a below-the-knee amputee after his right leg was amputated at 4 weeks old after an ischemic injury at birth...Son of Samuel and Kimberly Murray…Has two brothers, Elijah and Joshua…Joe is incredibly involved in his school…Hopes to be a cardiologist one day…Enjoys reading and playing beach volleyball with his friends.
