What year did you being lifting? 2011
How did you get involved? I found lifting through Crossfit. I fell in love with the Lifting movements and realized I was pretty strong for my weight and would be pretty competitive, so I began focusing more on lifting, met my coach, Danny Camargo, and began competing.
Favorite Competition Lift? When I first started lifting, I liked the Clean & Jerk because I was better at it, but once I started improving my technique I now appreciate the beauty and the grace of the Snatch.
Favorite Training Lift? I love jerking off the jerk blocks
Education: I got my degree in Communications from the University of Miami "The U baby!"
Personal Goals: I plan to bounce back after delivering my first child and get right back into competing in both Crossfit and Weightlifting. I hope to be back at the American Open next year in December after giving birth in early August and hope to one day make it back to the Crossfit Games with my team. I made one trip back in 2011 and it was an amazing experience

Most people don’t know that…. I was six weeks pregnant when I competed in the 2013 American Open. I consulted with my doctor and he gave me the green light to go ahead and compete. Dropping weight was tough but I did it! My baby boy and I did it together. He's already a champ and still hasn't even been born. I hope he’s proud of his mama.
