Currently a student at Cal State University, San Bernardino, where she is majoring in nutrition and food science and hopes to become a clinical dietitian...Has been handcycling since 2014 and began competing in 2015...Competed as an able-bodied cyclist before she was paralyzed in a bike vs. car accident while training in Chino Hills, California...Once hand cycled a total of 9,000 miles in a year...First internationally competed for Team USA at the world cup in Baie-Comeau, Quebec, in 2019...Considers herself to have a big sweet tooth and loves doughnuts, cake and coffee...Enjoys writing, drawing, reading and critical thinking exercises in her free time
