Gil Saenz

    Athlete Bio

    El Paso, TX

Parents are Gilbert Saenz, Viola Lares, Denise Saenz, and Luis Lares...My biggest supporters are my sister Sydney Saenz, my wife Rachel, and each of my four parents...I admire my wife Rachel because she doesn't allow me to give up on my dreams and helps me become the best version of myself; in life, my career, and on the field...Three words to describe me are Motivated, Dedicated, and Loyal...What does it mean for you to represent the USA? Getting to represent the best country in the world is like no other feeling out there. It's an honor and privilege to wear those three letters across my chest...What's your personal motto? Hard work beats talent when talent doesn't work hard...What is the best piece of advice you ever received? Find something you love to do + hard work = success. The more you love something, the harder you're going to work and the more likely you are to be successful at it
