About Erik Jensen:
Other sports: Erik plays piano, percussion and trumpet in his high school's band and jazz band. He also is involved in his church youth group and music ministry. He also likes to camp, mountain bike and snowboard.
Curling start: Erik began curling when the curling stone weighed more than he did.
Erik volunteered many hours as part of the ice crew during the two-week World Curling Championships in 2002. His family hosted the Russian national women's curling team during the event.
In addition to his international friendships, Erik has formed many friendships from across the U.S. through his curling bonspiel, clinic travels and Junior Nationals competition. Erik plans to attend the University of Notre Dame this fall and major in chemical engineering.
