Biographical Information

Delaney Strouse grew up in Midland, Michigan, and started curling in the 7th grade, joining her twin brother, Sam, who began the sport a year earlier. She signed up because her science teacher, also her brother’s curling coach, offered the class extra credit to try the sport.

Strouse was a two-time national junior champion (2020, 2021) and won bronze at the 2022 junior world championships. Strouse would skip the U.S. team at the 2023 FISU World University Games in Lake Placid, NY where they won a bronze medal, the first ever medal for Team USA in women’s curling at the World University Games.

Off the ice, Strouse graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2022 and works as a transportation planner.
