Neville surprised many with his third-place finish at the 2008 Olympic Trials in Eugene, Ore., finishing behind only World Outdoor Championships silver medalist LaShawn Merritt and reigning world and Olympic champion Jeremy Wariner in the final. Neville crossed the finish line in a personal best time of 44.61 seconds in punching his ticket for the 2008 Olympic Team. A member of the Indiana University track & field squad from 2003-2005, Neville won four Big Ten titles for the Hoosiers and earned All-America recognition on five occasions. He Holds IU indoor records in the 200m dash and 400m dash, as well as in the 4x400m relay and the Distance Medley Relay...owns the second-best outdoor marks in IU history in the 200m dash and the 400m dash as well as the 4x400m relay...named Big Ten Freshman of the Year in 2004...did not compete in track & field at IU his freshman year, choosing instead to participate in the I.U. Marching Band...Left the I.U. program following his junior year to turn pro.
