Biographical Information
Chrysta Rands-Evans grew up in Donora, Pennsylvania, as an inline skater representing the U.S. at the 2015 world junior inline championships.
Two years later, Rands-Evans moved to Salt Lake City and transitioned to speedskating on ice.
Seven years later, Rands-Evans made her first U.S. national team before the 2024-2025 season. Entering the 2025-2026 season, Rands-Evans had her first top-three finish at U.S. national championships in the 500m.
Off the ice, Rands-Evans married her husband Loren in 2021. In addition to training, she also holds down a full-time job as a manager for a contact lens company.
