• Douglas experienced a spinal cord injury at age 11 that paralyzed him from the waist down. Following his injury, he was introduced to sled hockey in 2011 while volunteering at Camp Boggy Creek for Spina Bifida Weekend. Douglas attended the USA Hockey Player Development Camps from 2012-2014 and made his U.S. National Team debut in 2015.
