Ben Thompson began competing internationally in 2014, when he made his archery debut at the AAE Arizona Cup in Phoenix. Since then, competition has taken Ben to the Parapan American Championships in Roasrio, Argentina - and in August, to the Parapan American Games in Toronto. After shooting at the Parapan Am Games, Ben will compete in Germany at the World Archery Para Championships, where he'll be part of the team shooting for Team USA's spots for the 2016 Paralympic Games. Ben shoots in the compound men's open division, and plans to compete in the U.S. Paralympic Team Trials next year.
