Biographical Information
Growing up in North Dakota, Bailey Vaydich started curling at 8 years old. She was the high school girls champion of the Dakota Territories (Montana, North Dakota, South Dakota) in 2025.
On the international level, Vadich is the lead for Team Johnson. 2025 was a breakout year for this team, as they won their first U18 title in January and participated in their first U.S. nationals later that month, where they placed fifth and narrowly missed a playoff spot after losing a tiebreaker match. In March, they won their first junior national championship. Six months later, they qualified for their first U.S. Olympic Trials in women’s curling by winning the U.S. Curling pre-trials event.
