Quick Facts
Austin Hanson has competed on 20 international boccia teams for the United States, including three Paralympic Games. Even when not competing, Hanson is still very involved in the sport as an assistant coach for a young group of novice boccia athletes. For the past 19 years, Hanson has worked at Families Together, Inc., a child advocacy company, doing data entry. Hanson recently took on a new role as DJ for his church’s youth group activities. His hobbies include social networking, music and bowling with friends and family.
