INTERNATIONAL HIGHLIGHTS: 2009 – Played in 17 sets of the FIVB World Grand Prix, starting the opening two matches against Germany (July 31) and Puerto Rico (Aug. 1)...Totaled 24 assists and six points (2 kills, 2 aces, 2 blocks) during the World Grand Prix. 2008 – Started the majority of eight-match tour of China leading to a 5-3 overall record against Chinese club teams…Helped USA to a 41 kill percent for the tour, while providing 14 kills, four blocks, one ace and 35 digs during the three-week event…Earned Best Setter award at Pan American Cup after averaging 4.38 assists per set with just five faults…Added 21 points during the Pan American Cup with 10 kills on 22 attacks, four aces and seven blocks…Totaled 18 digs during the Pan American Cup as part of 0.64 dig average…Started four sets and played in seven total sets in three-match exhibition series with Brazil…Started fifth set of victory over Brazil on June 13…Played in 10 sets during the first two weekends of the FIVB World Grand Prix, recording one ace. 2005 – Played for the USA Women's National Team during the summer of 2005 in the Pan American Cup in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic.

COLLEGE HIGHLIGHTS: 2007 – Completed collegiate career at Florida as school’s career leader in assists with 5,784…Captured AVCA All-America honors for the third-consecutive year after establishing a single-season school record for assists per game (13.88), which ranked sixth in the nation, and setting the Gators to a .303 hitting percentage that stood as the country’s fifth-best mark…Set Florida to a school record with a 17.49 kills per game average, besting the school record by 0.55…Became the first player in school history to collect both 1,000 digs and 300 blocks in her career, as well as the first setter to reach either of those milestones…Played in 449-career games - more than any Gator in the rally scoring era - and owns nearly 40 career, season and match records at UF…Earned her second-straight Southeastern Conference Player of the Year award in 2007, and was named to the AVCA All-South Region team for third year in a row. 2006 - AVCA First-Team All-American ... PERSONAL: Parents are Patrick and Dawn McGinnis with sisters Mary (1987) and Brittany (1990)…Comes from an athletic family as mother was a high jumper for University of Michigan, father was a cross country runner for Eastern Michigan University, sister Brittany played volleyball at Ball State University and sister Mary played volleyball at Madonna University…On track to graduate from University of Florida with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education in 2009…Began playing volleyball in 1994 with VIP Volleyball Club…Hobbies include camping, bonfires, biking, decorating, cooking, shopping and relaxing…favorite food is Greek salad…favorite book is The Kite Runner…Favorite music is country with favorite musical group as Rascal Flatts…Favorite professional team is Detroit Pistons and favorite athlete is Chauncey Billups…Most admired people are mother and father as “they sacrifice so many things in their lives to make mine wonderful!”
