Personal Profile:
Adnan was born in Bosnia and escaped the war with his parents when he was a child. Growing up in St. Louis, MO, Adnan attended the Missouri School for the Blind where he excelled in wrestling. He also wrestled for Linwood University. While in college, he picked up judo to augment his wrestling. In 2009, USA Judo held visually impaired divisions for the first time and Adnan won the 81kg division. Adnan made his first IBSA World Championship Team in 2010 and was also a member of the 2011 IBSA World Games Team. He is currently ranked #1 in the United States at 81kg and will be representing the US at the 2015 Para Pan American Games in Toronto, Canada. Adnan currently lives in St. Louis, MO and trains at the White Dragon Judo Club.
