Biographical Information

Winter Vinecki grew up on 2,000+ acres of farm and woodlands in Gaylord, Michigan, and started competing in triathlons and marathons as a child. She set the world record by becoming the youngest person at age 14 to run a marathon on every continent, including Antarctica, and was Ironkids National Champion as a teenager.

At age 12, Vinecki was invited to an aerials skiing camp by three-time Olympian Emily Cook, and after the camp, she moved to Park City, Utah, to train in the sport. Vinecki was named to the U.S. national ski team in 2016 and made her Olympic Debut at the Olympic Winter Games Beijing 2022. The 2023-24 season was a career season for Vinecki, where she won three individual FIS World Cup events to finish second in the season rankings.

Off the slopes, Vinecki founded a non-profit Team Winter to raise money for prostate cancer research and awareness after her father, Michael, passed away suddenly from the disease when she was nine years old.
