More
Growing up, McCarthy would hit around on the sidelines as his mom played competitive hockey on the pitch. When he eventually got old enough, he joined the junior section and has never looked back. Hockey’s immense amount of precision skill and speed keep McCarthy coming back for more, and there is just something about hockey that continually draws him to the game; every time he steps off the pitch after a match or a training session, he looks forward to the his next opportunity to play. His love for the game landed him on the U.S. Men’s Development Squad in 2013 before he moved up to the Senior National Squad in 2014.
