    Tami Hetke has been an outrigger canoe racer for seven years.
    She has medaled in three World Sprints: Hawaii, New Zealand, & Sacramento.
    She has also competed in a 42-mile race across the channel from Molokai to Honolulu in October,
    2008.
    She is a right leg amputee who lives with her daughter, 20, and her son, 17, and many animals.
    She loves the outdoors and laughter is her nature.
