Jensen was seven years old when a brain aneurysm caused her to have a stroke and left her slightly paralyzed on her right side
She does have the ability to stand up and move her legs to a very minimal extent
First discovered wheelchair fencing while volunteering at a wheelchair sports camp when she was 16
Three years later she was nationally ranked
She loves to read, and started studying more about the sport and the psychological elements of it
